The wait is over, we are going to dental school! This has a been a long and rewarding process for Jordan and I. I am so proud of him. He did amazing on the DAT, he has worked his tail off to get good grades at BYU, and has worked the whole time he has been in school at a dental research foundation. He has definitely worked hard in hopes to get accepted somewhere.
On December 1st we began hearing from the schools Jordan interviewed at. We first woke up to see that Virginia Common Wealth University had offered Jordan a seat in their next Dental School Class. About an hour later he received a phone call from Ohio State University also offering him a seat in their next Dental Class. They call it the Class of 2014 (the year he'd graduate). Jordan was thrilled because Ohio was his second choice and Virginia his third. He couldn't help but wonder though about his first choice the IDEP (Idaho Dental Education Program) that offers the first year at ISU in Pocatello, ID and the next three at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. We waited and waited all day talking about would it would be like to move to Ohio. Finally at the end of the day Jordan received an e-mail from the IDEP program informing him that he had been offered a seat as one of 8 Idaho students to join the Creighton/IDEP class of 2014.
Both Jordan and I were thrilled and couldn't help but to have tears of gratitude for the Lord hearing our prayers. We are so grateful to have a choice of where to go to dental school let alone being accepted at all.
After much prayer and consideration we have made our choice and accepted an offer for the Class of 2014 at:
