Spring Break...Cleveland, Ohio

This year for spring break we went to Cleveland, Ohio to visit Jordan's brother and family. They had never met the girls so we wanted to spend our time with them! We had such a great time with them. They kept us busy busy busy, but we loved it! Here they are with the girls!

We were able to visit a lot of the church history sites in Hiram and Kirtland, Ohio. It was such a great experience. The first stop was the John Johnson farm. The location where Joseph Smith was tared and feathered. Surprisingly enough, the day we where there was the anniversary of the day it had happened. This was also the home where the twins Joseph and Emma had adopted were living when the little boy died from the measles. Going through the home was a very emotional experience, but so full of the spirit.

We visited the Newel K. Whitney store which was probably our favorite part.
One of our other fun activities was visiting the Westside Market. Fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, and cheeses were available. Jordan loved it because it reminded him of Italy. We ate lunch there and just had a great time.
The adorable little Bella!
This was the revelation room in the Newel K. Whitney store. This is the exact table Joseph Smith sat at when he received many of the sections in the Doctrine and Covenants. We were also able to see the school of the prophets. What a memory!
Another view of the Westside market.
The Kirtland temple. Also fun to see knowing how much dedication, sacrifice, and work went into building it.
The other adorable mug! The girls did so good on the flights there and had a little harder time on the way back. They both are pretty sick. They are now adjusting to the time change and a nasty cold that I am praying is not RSV. We go to the doctor tomorrow so we'll see.

We had a great time though in Ohio. So much fun to be with family. They were amazing hosts and gave us the personal tour of a new city. One night Jordan and I were able to go on a date to Little Italy! Right up our ally! We loved it.

We will always remember this spring break!
