More October....Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins

October sure was a fun month for us! We got to enjoy probably one of the prettiest months in Omaha, fly home to visit family, and then have my mom here in Omaha for a little bit at the end of October. This post is loaded mostly with pictures so we don't forget the fun time we had!

My dad was in harvest while we were home which meant he was gone pretty much until 2 am ever day. So, one of the days we packed the girls up in the car and took them out to the harvest with Papa so they could see what Papa works so hard on. He truly is amazing. He takes on SO much, constantly works to solve other people's problems, and makes sure things run smoothly with all of the beautiful potatoes they got this year. I admire him so much and appreciate what a great example of hard work he is. More than anything, my dad is ALWAYS kind. No matter the person or the treatment he gets he always treats you like your the most important person in the world. I sure love my dad. Not to mention, he's a pretty proud Papa!

Sof managed to show me that she is a very busy bee. I don't realize it so much here in Omaha because are place isn't big enough for her to get into too much trouble. At grandma's house however she found all sorts of trouble to get into. I sure love this curly haired, hair gel eating, baby girl.

We also got to stop at Uncle Chase's pumpkin patch while we were home. It sure was fun to take the girls on train rides and to sit in the middle of a big batch of pumpkins.

Oh boy! Do these girls ever love their daddy-o.
Look at all of those beautiful pumpkins including the two with bows in the middle of the patch!

Can you tell that Bella had a wonderful time? Chocolate smeared all across her face. My mom made this trip actually feel like a vacation for me with all the help she offered with the girls. It's so nice to visit family and feel like I have an extra set of hands. My mom truly is one of my very best friends!

While we were home, Emmanuel, one of my dad's friends from Ghana was their visiting. He became a fast friend to Bella and Sofia. Bella really took a liking to him and wouldn't leave him alone when he was around!

The girls also really love dogs! Bella loved to give Mimi lots of hugs!

We sure loved being home! It was so nice of my family to let us come visit for a little while! We love being around family! Thanks again mom and dad!
