Our Omaha Christmas

Before we headed home for Christmas we had a small Jordan Baker family celebration the Sunday before (Dec. 11th). We had chilled blueberry soup and parmesan chicken bake with gingerbread cake for dessert. Evidence of the blueberry soup can be found on the faces of our children pictured below. Note: they had just woken up. I wish I could get that kind of volume out of Sofia's hair naturally!
I think Bella would rather have been sleeping but hey she figured if there was sugar involved she'd stay awake.
We opened up out gifts to each other so we didn't have to lug them home and then back again. Please excuse our Sunday finest. After church we can't get in our sweats fast enough!
The girls got Bitty Babies from their Grandma and Grandpa Baker and got to open them here in Omaha. They LOVE them and think it's so cool to wear them on their back!
The doll and back pack may or may not weigh more than Bella!
It was a fun day and probably a tradition we'll start. It's fun to start our own little traditions with our small family!
