Today was the last day of winter semester. The next two days are the calm before the storm here at BYU a.k.a reading days. It gives us a chance to do as much studying we can in two days without classes which is so wonderful because once finals start its a whirlwind. Jord has 5 finals and I have only 2 (Hallelujah!) the great part about being a senior. Anyway, we are excited for the next two days to just lounge around the house together studying our little brains out.
Oh and the greatest news of the month! We went home to IF this past weekend to watch our sister Whitney compete in Jr. Miss. Over the last two months I have been helping her giving her every pageant tip in the book to prepare. She exemplified every thing she was taught by 100%. We were so proud of her and she worked SO hard!
She ended up winning interview, talent (the greatest part because she has overcome her fear of playing the piano), poise, and overall was awarded 1st runner-up winning nearly $3,000!
Oh and her pink dress was the most gorgeous thing we have ever seen. See for yourself! Go Whitney!
We are so proud of you!

How fun to see the videos of the pageant and relive the moments when we saw Whitney shine. We, of course, are very partial, but we have heard from many on how Whitney was "robbed." Well, she is the winner in our books, and we enjoyed watching your little clips over and over. Thank you Hilary, her wins are just as much a win for you, because she had you for her "hostess" or trainer.
We've seen your update of your blog, the border is awesome. It looks as fancy as a scrapbook page, how you learn how to do all this fancy stuff, I do not know. Dad, I and the girls are way impressed!
