Oh Sofia. I love you sweet girl. Sofia is such a cute little thing. She is full of energy and goes a million miles an hour most days. Most of my photos I have of her are blurry because she never holds still. She's growing like a weed and learning new things every day. I have never seen a little girl so concerned about their sister as Sofia is. No matter what I give to Sofia she immediately asks if Bella (she calls her Beba) can have one. When I get them out of the car one at a time she is always very concerned that I might forget Bella and if Bella is ever out of her site for too long Sofia says, "Beba? Where'd she go, where'd she go." as she gestures the question with her hands.
We are all so grateful to have Sofia in our family. She is always trying to kiss her way out of trouble. If she needs a time out she'll immediately try and kiss me and then ask me, "good gurl?" as she shakes her head yes. No matter how mad I am at her I can't help but stop and tell her yes, Sofia you are a very good girl.
Proof of our little girl always on the run!
Her 18 month stats looked like this:
Height: 34"....98%
Weight: 24 lbs 6 oz ....53%
She has this beautiful curly hair that has a mind of its own.
And, she's officially in the nursery....well if you count me as officially being in the nursery too. She won't stay unless I'm in there too. Bella would rather I leave but if I take Sofia with me Bella has a melt down. Hopefully they'll adjust sooner than later. Sofia has to know where I'm at 24/7. We left them with a sitter the other night and she kept repeating the whole time we were gone, "Mama, where'd she go, where'd she go."
Sofia loves to read books, play outside, talk to family on the phone or on Skype, play with dolls and cars, and of course play with Bella.
Both Sofia and Bella are learning to say their abc's and can identify a few of the letters. Their favorite things to talk about are animal sounds though. They know/identify the colors purple, red, yellow, blue.
The other day I started to count and said one and Sofia followed with two, three. I didn't even know she knew them.
Some of our very favorite phrases she says are "Peese" (as she wrinkles her nose), "where'd she go", "cool" (she says this a lot), "dada skool?", "Oh, no!", "good gurl?", "kaboo" (how she says peek-a-boo), and then she can say most all other words she needs to communicate with.
I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this little girl climbing all over me every day saying hi mama a million times!! I love her so much!
