The girls and I headed to Idaho early this summer because of this cute kid. My little brother Chase left on a mission. He came to Omaha for a few days to see where we live since we will be gone from Omaha when he gets home and to say goodbye to Jordan. He helped me get the girls home too. About 45 minutes into the flight I think he started regretting his decision to help me but it was too late, he was roped in!
While he was in Omaha with us, we took him to a College World Series game where he dropped 8 bucks on a smoothie and where it took us 35 minutes to find a parking spot, but no worries we still had a blast!
Once we made it home we had a chance to do one last family trip and headed to Lagoon for the day while the girls stayed home with my Mother-in-Law. We had so much fun together! Please ignore how nasty I look int his picture. We had just gotten off water snake rapids!
The morning we took Chase to the MTC we took a bunch of photos. The girls didn't ride down with us to take him so they said their goodbyes at home.
They sure love their uncle 'Chae.'
Moments before we dropped him off at the MTC where he stayed for 3 weeks and then off to the California, Santa Rosa mission.
These days the MTC drop off is brutal. You pull up to the curve, get out his luggage, and wave him off!
He left July 11th so has now been out over a month. He is already changing so much and sounds like he's doing super. I am proud of my baby brother who isn't so little anymore. We sure love Uncle Chase!
