This year has been different than all years past as pretty much every holiday has been spent here in Omaha with just our little immediate family. It has been really really fun actually and we have created some really great memories!
The girls Thanksgiving morning watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
Our small little Thanksgiving dinner on our nice China!
Sour Cream lemon and Pumpkin pie for dessert. Jordan braved the crowds that night for black Friday shopping while the girls and I waited in the car. He got a few good deals on things.
Christopher Pop-In-Kins made his debut that weekend bringing donuts and the girls thought that was pretty dang cool. Above the elf is reading Snow White to the 7 dwarfs.
The girls thought it would be a good idea to decorate our tree with a little extra bling. I loved walking into the room to find this. Girls are so fun!
Since Jordan was gone so much in November I had a lot of spare time at nights so I made a hand stitched felt nativity for the girls and had the elf bring it one morning. They loved it and played with it lots throughout the month of December.
We finally got our first snow fall in December and the girls had a blast going outside to play in it while I watched from inside.
Finger painting is a favorite at our house.
As are pizza night picnics in the living room or the basement!
We spend lots of time doing hair around here and the girls love to look in the mirror at whatever the creation is I came up with.
Our two darling Mrs. Claus'
We made a gingerbread village one morning that the elf brought us. The girls had a blast.
Playing computer games with daddy.
It's amazing what fun things you can come up with without even leaving the house when you are forced to stay home!
