So today was supposed to be day #2 of my cake decorating class. Well actually, I usually go on Thursdays but since tomorrow is Valentine's day, I switched and chose to come today. That was a mistake because apparently the teacher cancelled the class for today and called all of her students, but since I am not on her roll I didn't get called. So, I spent 3 hours today preparing for the class and got there at 6:30 to find no one there. Talk about an ultimate bummer. Luckiy, I have Jordan for a husband and he helped me make the best of the situation. So we went home and decorated a cake there. I taught myself today's lesson (not recommended) and attempted a Valentine's Day cake. The colors were a little funky becuase I was trying new things out, but it's an attempt! Hopefully Lesson #3 will go a little smoother as in hopefully there will actually be a lesson!
